There are plenty of bargain for oil and gas assets atm... Why the heck do they wish to try merge with an oil junior in the US with a potential liability of US $12mil ?.
MEL will soon burn through the remaining AUD $10mil (US $7.7mil) cash reserve.
It sounds like a nutty deal to me under the low oil price and the low US exchange rate.
I would say it is the end of the road for MEL management..
