Absolutely right Marko. There's another scam to watch out for as well. Someone makes an internet credit card purchase then requests a chargeback from the bank claiming they never made the purchase. This can even be done many months after the purchase. The merchant cops the loss when the bank withdraws the purchase amount from the merchant's bank account.
