Originally there were 53,000 cases acquired. By my understanding 13,000 cases were thrown out. S&G are still expecting 40-50% of claims to resolve. I'm also working on an average negotiated rate at £8,000 per claim.
40,000*40%=16,000
16,000*£8,000=£128M
£128M*$1.7=$217.6M
Or...
40,000*50%=20,000
20,000*£8,000=£160M
£160M*1.7=$272M
