What happens when the US consumer chucks in the towel?? What will happen to the sales of Japanese electronics and automobiles?
On top of falling demand for Japanese exports, we have increased supply of goods via China. So in summary Japan will be simultaneously facing a demand AND supply squeeze for most of their exports.
End result?
The total decimation of Japanese industry over the next two decades.
Japan is finished - period.
The Nikkei at below 1,000 in 2020 would not suprise me at all. This is no joke.
