Understated as usual but you have a point, Japan is extremely vulnerable to competition on their manufactured goods from China.

I fear for all of the Asian economies that are trying to survive on low cost labour - China will eat them all.

A few weeks ago I read about Indonesia banning the importation of textiles in an effort to protect their own industry against the Chinese- long term, no chance.

I hope Ardent is reading this - he is one who believes that "Governments" should do something about protecting us all from low labour costs in other countries.
