Hi Buddy, I guess the often quoted $120M refund (that wouldn't be classified as Compensation I reckon) would be the price? PH last week in an article was quoted as saying $140M in today's dollars.
Can we say that's offer over $140M? Or a price that MEL shareholders can't refuse? The Govt would be saved by the white knight as it will not need to folk out the dollars.
I would really think that there might be something going on behind the scene, but there're just too much of smoke (not the funny type) coming from the media and pollies at the moment.
