This should alarm share holders as it there is a huge difference in what this means for AC8 and most importantly it share holders... Intellectual Property is protected by law. These are trademarks, copyrights, and patents. It's illegal for anyone besides the rights holder to use them in certain ways, mainly for business purposes. Proprietary information is secret info that a business uses to gain an edge, but it's not protected by law. It's protected by secrecy instead, enforced by non-disclosure agreements that is part of an employee's contract. Is AC8 relying on their whole hard capsule competitive advantage based only on employee secrets!? I don’t know any global pharmaceutical company that don’t have a defendable patent their product verses our little secret as a protection strategy!? Anyone know if AC8 have global patents pending which would need to be lodge in each country the biggest market of which would the USA..correct? If proprietary is all we have this not good!

The Coke-a-cola recipe is a trade secret and that carries the advantage in that you don't have to ever disclose the ingredients. You have to disclose the colour of underwear you were wearing when you made your discovery in the case of a patent application. Both Trade secrets and patents have their advantages.
