It is certainly very impressive, and very welcomed, that AVE were able to get spots on 2 channels, with two prime rating news broadcasts nationally with a feature on the upcoming trial.
Positive exposure for AVE, but also created awareness for people to join the trial.
I wonder whether they had to pay for the feature spots? I think news AD spots, at that time, are just about the most expensive advertising in TV.
I presume they were genuine features with no payment. The paid ones would perhaps be more the Today Tonight / A Current Affair type of thing.
