Why are people taking the LNP's word on this at face value? Turnbull has said for ages his plan will cost 1/3 to 1/4 of Labor's. Then he tells the press Labor's plan will cost $90bn, then reveals the next day his will cost $30bn. Wow, how coincidental.
Treasury figures are there for all to see of the current costings of the NBN. IIRC correctly, the cost has blown out a whole 4% since the project started. Turnbull has provided no evidence whatsoever for this $90bn claim.
Why are people taking the LNP's word on this at face value?...
