If you are interested in understanding some of the risks in developing a rare earth project (arguments aside as to weather Niobium is an REE) have a listen to the "Money of Mine" Podcast with Dylan Kelly which is also available on YouTube.

Its a sobering assessment of the difficulties in getting a rare earth project to production along with some of the pitfalls around downstream processing, complexity in primary processing and ramp up, metallurgy, financing and commodity price risks. When you understand the time-frames involved it makes you more appreciative of how little importance the next price-sensitive announcement is.

Despite the focus on risks in this podcast, WA1 is briefly mentioned in a slightly more positive light.

In comparison with Niobec mine in Canada:
