Granted we can sometimes get carried away with our own logical arguments as to why ESG WILL be so good. And sometimes the reality takes a while to catch up with the rhetoric!

Nobody likes a falling sp when the sector remains strong. What we need as you say is ESG to sell itself better ... or perhaps an actual sector transaction like a takeover of AOE. Many of us got the distinct impression at the AGM and talking to the execs that ESG would rather progress its reserves and plans further before attracting a suitor. The words "fly under the radar for alittle longer" were heard. While this won't make us happy short-term ... we have to assume that management are just as keen as we are for the ultimate payday and that they are doing what is best to achieve that!
