Thats the whole of SQM's supposed extra lithium supply if they ever decide it is actually worth the investment. 40% royalties > $12k US a ton, 25% to local industry. AS JL said, all it gives SQM is an extension to produce out to 2030 and they would be mad to spend an extra cent above and beyond that with those conditions. KDR is there better option.
$9 billion on top of the rest of the announcements, the news just keeps getting better. Suck it UBS and the rest, lithium is here to stay and so is the shortfall of Li until 2025.
