I was refreshing my mind what other significant iron deposits are in Cameroon along the Kribi - Mbalam rail route.
Nkout.
This project that doesn't get much attention, and potentially becomes our first rail & port customer/partner.
Fun fact.
Nkout deposit is larger than Mbalam.
And there is no sh1t fight over who has the mining rights.

Looking at 2022 aerial photography of Nkout, there is signs of life there!
Assuming the Kribi - Mbalam port & rail project is funded (?), it would make sense to give priority to servicing the Nkout project.
Meanwhile Sundance's Mbalam and Nabeba litigation drags on, and the lawyers get fatter and fatter, and Sundances possible payout diminishes as each month goes past. (Due to interest and fees associated with the Burford advances, and litigation costs.)
If Nkout alone makes the rail & port immediately viable, this would be a win-win.
Our consortium marches ahead with the project, and China gets [another] supply of African iron ore.
I would really like to hear more about Nkout.
