Okay guys here is Barry Sergeant's reply to the email I wrote to him questioning his research in the above article. His reply does not really improve my opinion of him.

The numbers I am alluding to are sourced from independent analysts, who are familiar with realities. BFS documents are only of limited use.

You are free to chose what you want to believe, but there is no point getting into an argument about ?right? and ?wrong?. The numbers you mention fail to explain why Xstrata has not turned its entire focus on doing the deal.
