Whats to say that XGov and lawyers cant pull off great deals. There are Law firms in WA that just work on capital raising and contracts in mining.
As to XGov, do you mean Sth African XGov? Unless they are XGov for negative reasons, wouldnt they be the most suitable to know the government processes involved for the undertaking of mining and capital raising in South Africa.
As I have heard from a few, timeframes seem not to be of absolute essence in South Africa, and if the asset of NKP is valued so highly, then surely one would expect obstructions so each can have their finger in the pie so to speak.
I still think that NKP is being prepared to be bought out, whichever way that can occur and the hint for me is cleaning up of the balance sheet, to speak in plain terms.

But this is just my opinion.
