NLC annual report 2017

There is not a single mention of Coldry in the recent NLC report. It’s all about setting up a Matmor 'pilot plan with participation from NMDC'. The MPA is ‘under consideration’ but no mention of the lofty NITI review or the independent analysis by NLC. It also seems that NLC are exploring solar drying technology for their lignite and that they’ve dropped the Kobe pilot as the FS, which was 'under consideration', proved it was not an economical technology. Solar drying lignite would in fact be carbon neutral, as opposed to Coldry or the Kobe processes that both use kw per hour. Will Matmor save the 'fast track' India project? We'll soon find out.
