Solar drying lignite would in fact be carbon neutral, as opposed to Coldry or the Kobe processes that both use kw per hour. Will Matmor save the 'fast track' India project? We'll soon find out.

"In 2015-16, it was reported that it is proposed to conduct a feasibility study on Matmor Process and the report has since been submitted by Environmental Clean Technologies, (ECT) Australia. ECT have also submitted a Master Project Agreement for setting up a pilot plant with participation from National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) and the proposal is under consideration."

Translates to:- ECT had not advanced their proposal within the last 2 years
