One week ago today, NLC submitted its pre-feasibility project report to the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, for the first lignite fired 660 MW Super Critical unit in India (at a projected cost of $1.8 billion AUD). Coldry is ideal for high efficiency electricity generation in Super Critical.
The site was chosen from four possibilities and is the closest, approx 4.8 kms from the proposed site of the Coldry-Matmor plant.
The proposal is to transport lignite from Mine-III, a distance of 10.6 km via conveyor, passing close to the proposed Coldry-Matmor plant.

INTERNATIONAL ASSIGNMENTS
Completion is due 48 months after all permissions are granted. One would assume, if all goes well, our nearby mega-commercial-scale Coldry plant will also be in full swing. If you know what I mean.
