I actualy think the Indians are much less capable of playing Hard ball then they appear. The rupee may be weak for the moment. Medium term Indian GDP is expected to stay at 7%. thta brings into play all the detail that YC has so laboriously propounded. Ie. need for fertiliser. Move to eating more protein etc.(even in a predominantly Hindu) country.
As AD so often and eloquoently summarises it. "It is a marriage made in heaven."
The deal will get done it's just that it will cause us some heartache.
Welcome to business with India. Actaully they will go through a lot of the teething thta happened when Chna decised to action the same dynamic. I.e started direct investment in raw materials (and farms on the quiet) in Aust.
