The Research Manager will be part of our technology development team. You will be responsible for delivering the Company's R&D program.

The Key Tasks

The key tasks of the job will include: -managing and planning of test work progams.

management of research resources.

• You will be responsible for monitoring and progressing of test work programs.
• Collect, collate and analyse test work data and report on these results.
• The ideal candidate will participate in the review of planning and test work and in the preparation of documentation for current and new work.

Skills and Experience

• The candidate must be familiar with and preferably have hands on experience with laboratory analysis.

• Have a detailed knowledge of characterizing ores and minerals.
• Display an ability to solve problems.
• Have experience working in direct iron reduction or related industry.
• Demonstrated experience in the Chemistry of technology of iron ore reduction.

Tertiary Qualifications

The applicant must have a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering with specific research experience related to iron ore and iron ore benefication and refining.
