He ripped his prison bracelet off his ankle… he threatened cops several days before with an axe… he didn’t want to go to jail so stabbed an officer of the law.
Would he have been shot if he didn’t stab an officer? Of course not. The video showed that as they tried to ID him calmly. Of course he was cornered a bloody arrest warrant was out for him. He was a criminal. That doesn’t give you the right to then attempt to kill an innocent police officer who is merely following the law, and doing so with respect.
DONT STAB POLICE OFFICERS OR ANYONE FOR THAT MATTER. You follow that and you’ll be just fine. Pretty simple. I’ve never encountered problems with police following these simple rules, who would have thought?
You’re downplaying a bladed and sharp weapon? A fit young man can easily kill someone with a sharp weapon like that. How about you be a police officer, sit still and let Walker or some other deranged petrol sniffer (or other drug abuse) stab you while you calmly talk him down. Get real.
This is exactly the problem with these remote communities - a lack of responsibility and accountability for their actions. This individual I’m responding to is case in point.
