I think today was an over-reaction. There was the very real possibility of no dividend being paid for 2H08, as management want to degear the balance sheet.
Should they have paid a small divi at least. YES! They could have handled today so much better. What did the fools think would happen. As a result, retail investors got absolutely smashed today.
Investors should realise that the pain of today makes the company stronger. The SP will creep back up again and we still have light ahead from the coming asset sale programme.
BBP is turning the corner, but gosh the clowns at management make it tough on us.
