Why wouldnt the people who falsified the income figures, be it the brokers or the borrowers, be charged with fraud...ie obtaining a financial benefit by deception. The fact that it turned to doo doo is probably the only reason they will be caught. Everyone was happy while property was rising same as all the other countries. If it was the broker they should be expelled from the industry. Get rid of the cowboys I say because they make it harder for everyone doing the right thing.
