There seems to have been a gorge between what people can afford or think they can afford and what they can borrow. It's not the banks responsibility to make decisions for you. If I took the credit card limit upgrades offered to me it's my responsibility. Too few thinking for themselves and wanting a get out of jail card when it turns sour.
