"Huge debt, no plan of attack" Have you bothered doing any research at all? Japara has a positive cash balance following IPO and an organic and acquisition led strategy in place. Hopefully they use equity markets to fund the acquisition of a smaller player in the industry and follow a GEM led style of growth.
