G'day Lordy, a little snippet I heard today.
Forecasts for WA only up to 2010....the mining/construction/resources boom is far from over.
450,000 new jobs are estimated to be created in WA up to 2010. There is estimated to be a shortfall of 150,000 people despite the influx of new immigrants.
WHERE ARE THEY ALL GOING TO LIVE?
They will be huge demand for services industry positions as people are and will be leaving in droves for mining/construction positions.
The next phase is about to commence ;)
A lot of this will obviously be fifo however the local service industry positions won't be.
