hallie- the big boys didnt front with a counter bid so either they reckoned the chinese wouldnt succeed or they reckoned it was nearly fully valued? now the chinese have a nice little toehold on the register the next defense wont be so easy especially if friendly forces are hoovering up stock nice and cheap on the basis of selling into a new bid at say $1.60

like you I have topped up but the fact remains you can grab a truck full under a buck and plenty of willing sellers who either got burned or figure there is better value elsewhere in the market or who reckon that $1.70 now seems a long way off

mr market says shares are worth 93c, that all and we aint out of the woods by a long way yet
