The price is in the control of bots. I noticed when I put in a sell order and kept reducing the sell price, the share price just kept going further and further down. Eventually I pulled off my sell order completely and the share price recovered.
I think the bot is programmed to push the price down when it notices sell orders at a higher price than the market price which do not belong to the bot.
