All other biological patches have complications and I believe many are produced using bovine tissue. My limited understanding is that within ten years the patient will require a new valve due to calcification.
CC is also made from bovine tissue and should not require replacement ever because it does not calcify and integrates with the patients own tissue over time. There is compelling evidence of this. How often do I see posts here saying mice don't lie. In this case the mice and the children do not lie.
So if an inferior bovine tissue is being used already , then why is it taking so long for theTGA to approve CC in Australia???
