no call will be made before 31 december 2015

I wonder why this was announced at this time.I think the last extension was to expire around March next year.The wily Albers is usually well ahead of most people so I wonder why he feels an extra $7 million from a call won't be required for at least two years .As a large holder the extension will be good news for his bank account but why a two year extension instead of ,say a year.I guess it will all become clear in time.
