Hanrahan, if your in or near Townsville, I would dare you to call 4TO and have a chat to Pricey (is he still there?) about your conviction that you would like a nuclear power plant in the region.
You could suggest Kelso as a suitable site. Tell the listeners its perfectly safe, and the latest technology will be used.
See how many others share your conviction.
Perhaps even persevere with your endeavours, and see how long it takes before you need to relocate. Maybe WA would be more receptive, and a lot further away from me.
