Good points ausheds. Having lived for several years in Penang many years ago I'm aware of the enormous influence the Chinese have on Malaysia's business development. Ultimately, while many Chinese would like to see a change of government I have no doubt that pragmatic business sense will prevail ultimately. But of course such an enormous change after 57 years would inevitably bring enormous uncertainty and great disruption to business confidence - and all share prices. But IMHO, the opposition has shown it is not ready to govern anyway, and 'it won't happen'!
