This is getting pretty ridiculous, how far is this going to run !!!
Yield is down to 4.53%....for a REIT! This is only 225bp above the RISK FREE RATE! Australian office property is far from risk free!
Probably still zooming on takeover hopes (that's been the case for a few years now but still nothing of substance).
Most of the REITS have very low yields now, but some such as CQR (6.5%) still offer something reasonable...although still not great for the risks IMO.
I want to short a few AREITS, but I don't know if I've got the balls to let it run against me..because we all know the market can remain irrational longer than an investor (speculator ) can remain solvent.
