What? You do know Painchek has only been regulatory approved using clinical data for dementia patient tested against the APS. That's same announcement stated the following.....OMG. And this has been the same argument I've been saying against Philips supposedly using Painchek against delirious patient, if you can verbalise you pain, that's the current gold standard.
"“Other studies have found patients eat more or increase their weight when required, just by having a volunteer engaged in specific activities at meal times.” Pain assessment can be challenging amongst elderly patients who cannot verbalise their pain, such as those with advanced dementia"
