from a market perspective some students, tourists etc. are like a drop into the sea for the mvno business in oz, imo. your concerns about customer laziness with regard to switch a mobile provider seems to be nuts. there is a clear trend that customers do not want to get chained up in a multiyear contract while the world around is changing. as far as i know amaysim is the only provider who offers the freedom to switch within their product range depending on customer needs. likely this company is already in Vocus of going private fairly soon.
