That is a ridiculous ill informed comment. Average joe every day of the week does deals and downgrades of convictions.

Only last year a judge criticised police in Northern nsw for wasting his time with a bloke with 4 ecstacy tablets.

I went to court one day on a different matter and saw a bloke get no conviction for a drugs charge.

It happens every day in court and anyone who suggests otherwise is clueless.
