The US has the PBS The UK has the (choke) BBC. Canada, Germany and elsewhere have similar publicly funded broadcasters and they all have the same problem. They were captured decades ago by the political left and turned into propaganda arms. Of course they run entertainment, sports etc to hold criticism at bay but their essential purpose now is to support the election of the parties of the left. And we pay this endless stream of already subverted university "trained" journalists & commentators to ram their thought stream down our throats. What? Are we insane? Does the country not see the social and cultural cost this will eventually bring?
Disassemble the ABC structure into those that constitute news & political comment on the one hand and those that offer other types of broadcasting on the other. The first part can go out in the market place and fund themselves while the public continues to fund the other parts
