Dec-16 capital raising ~$10m gross on top of ~$5m cash with current burn of ~$0.5m p.m. US sales team in place and 27 US states require breast density info to be given to patients. FDA considering making this mandated. SAAS model for lower upfront but more recurring revenue and 'locking in' scan providers with the network effects potentially taking off.
I was at a Broker meets Biotech in Adelaide and the CEO Dr Ralph Highnam was impressive. My feeling is that if VHT can get enough uptake in their technology, it will take off bigly.
No idea about the competitive market in breast scanning and the level of development - can anyone add to this?? Are VHT leading the way??
More generally, no one is conering this but I feel this is worth a punt - could this be a 10-bagger in 2 or 3 years in the technology takes?!
