They brought the country together and got on top of it, fumigating cities and closing down infected areas.
The "economic superpower" divided the country and called for rallies in a middle of a pandemic where they sang and danced and screamed and clapped covid-19 into the atmosphere to catch, and then take home to their friends and families to make sick or die.

He could have copied the Chinese playbook with all those "economic superpower' resources at his disposal but he even under resourced them before covid-19 despite warnings. He sacked those heads and their departments for warning him and depleted the pandemic emergency stockpile. anyway it seems that american democracy is all about the republicans doing their best to make it harder for minorities to vote - and then with a gerrymander making sure that one white vote is worth 2 or 3 minority votes
