Hi, I agree on hybrids. They may be end up just being a transition , or may end up having a long term role.
And individual needs and desires will feed into that. My next car will need to fulfill the following roles.
Most days , 20 to 25km drive. Approximately 1 per week , 3 to 4 hour drive and then return , recharge available at the end , but not along the way. Half the time with an 800kg to 1200kg tow on those longer drives.
Now , my calculations say that , for me , an MG plug-in hybrid the best form of EV. Full EV just doesn't work , nor likely to in the medium term at least.
