In some instances a lot of people would like to use LIFO as they may buy a parcel they like to trade while allowing their original holding to meet the CGT anniversary date. That is what I would have a preference for personally. I'll read that link you have provided now.
The commissioner allowing you to "select" which parcel you have sold adds some comfort. From what I read on this forum plenty of people have their main PLS holding and a parcel they have traded multiple times and would prefer this to be the case to I would think.
