PLS dropped down to 35c just a few months ago, for no bad reason, Some 2016 buyer had seen their holding fell from 80c to 35c for along time before PLS pick up.
The volume was significant in the past few days and is building.
Maybe Insto are drawing funds to trade VIX?
Regarding the EV subsidy, subsidy reduction in fact is a sign that the battery technology is mature enough that the Chinese Govt is confident that the momentum will continue and that without the subsidy, their domestic car maker will still be able to compete against Foreign car maker.
