I am sure there are plenty of software packages that will let you select which parcel of shares you have sold. Not wanting to plug too hard but I have used Portfolio Manager, a cheap as chips software program for many years. It lets you nominate and you can obtain reports that clearly show what is what. Has saved me a fortune, but I do trade, not worried about CGT.
