Engineer, is that a Mining Engineer? Or a Metallurgist? Ever involved in the mine planning process, or ore reserve calculations?
419 workers is a large force I would agree. I guess it depends what all these workers are doing. If say 95% are labourers then the number is largely irrelevant.
When I was working in Africa we had over 50 men just for the guardhouse, so dont be impressed with raw numbers. How many are skilled and qualified?
