I think it's over a third of ASX companies have a German listing. Unless A4N are going to promote it heavily in Europe to an investor that can't access them via the ASX, then IMO there isn't much to it. The OTC market shares come out of the same pool of shares as the ASX, but there is a difference between the buy and sell price, which is how the agent makes money.

IMO, most of the time, it's just a bit of news flow for a company and a chance for the OTC sharks to make some coin. There is so much noise in international markets you need a poignant reason to list. I'm sure it works some of the time, not sure why it would be beneficial for A4N.HC users love it, though when their stock is up 20% on the OTC overnight - albeit on 500 shares!
