you are incorrect.
if someone hears it on hc it can be assumed to be public knowledge.
if someone hears it from a mate who is an employee and admits to trading shares based on this info then that is insider trading.
see rene rivkin.
if asic investigate and find that you have been making misleading statements then that also is punishable.
i wont bother discussing it with you any further.
