The share purchase scale back, has disadvantaged small Mum & Dad shareholders and favoured the big cushy institutions, which is typical and NOT fair.
So the cushy big Institutions that have the votes at the QBE AGM got more shares as a percentage of their holdings than the poor old Mum and Dad's.
QBE should have weighed up the smaller shareholders and scaled back the institutions and large shareholders, not the other way around.
So what has happened is that the Institutions and biggest shareholders have got a bigger profit as a percentage of their holding and not the smaller shareholders.
Surely ASIC shoud look at this, unless they are asleep again.
