You cannot talk abouy houses and gold in the same light.
Gold is a medium of exchange currently undergoing re-monetization at an increasingly fast rate by nations that fear Western fiat money.
There is a lot of talk about creating a new reserve world currency, a basket of currencies which would include gold, but not houses.
