'Everyone is culpable. Anyway it's history the whole country must, one way or the other, change. That means voluntarily or be pushed.'

It is being pushed to change, but fundamental economic, political and societal change have a different time frame from the markets.

Greece is bankrupt. It has been given the choice of defaulting and leaving the EZ. If it does that - there will be no support from the EU. It can return to its former currency or bartering. The 'vultures' would love that solution - investors are sitting on the sideline and waiting to snap-up assets at 'bargain prices'.

Unfortunately for them, the troika stands in the way. As for the 'bondholders' - many of them bought on the market at 60-80% discount and now demanding to sell back at 50%. The difference, or profit is coming from EU taxpayers.

Anyway, the Euro question is dominated by the to 'extreme' views:
    a) Those outside it - proponents of breakup and sovereign default.
    b) Those inside it - proponents of system change and renewal.

IMHO - both groups are wrong and right - the Euro as a currency will stand, the EZ and EU as an economic and political block will change.
