i had a look at & chat with SYR today (and took a SYR position at close, will buy more it goes lower).

I have come to the personal conclusion that SYR's billion tonne deposit, in itself, cannot serve as a basis for valuation. imo, what matters is grade, quality & cost effectiveness of mining (which SYR will certainly probably have)

for example, SYR have around 300M at 15%+ grade and that will last a few generations of human beings. i.e., if humanity makes it that far, which is certainly not certain

therefore, SVM need to find quality, which they hopefully appear to have, rather than quantity

for example, to prove up 100MT of high quality graphite at 15% would support a 150 year mine life at 100,000tpa production

grade is king, quality is king, here. graphite obviously not a rare metal due to SYR

personally, am praying SVM can recover with good results

Ukonde, multiple sub-parallel zones of high-grade flake graphite mineralisation occur over at least 5km in strike length, with individual zones ranging between 10m and 80m in surface width, averaging 12.9% TGC. At 50m deep, the JORC potential is 25Mt @ 12% grade

Nanzeka, two separate zones of high-grade flake graphite mineralisation occur over a combined strike length of 2.0km, with individual zones ranging between 10m and 150m in surface width. TGC, averaging 13.8%. At 50m deep, the JORC potential is 7Mt @ 13% grade

Total tonnage so far = 94MT

of course, it the depth is 100m then the tonnage is 200MT
